Abstract

The study "Collection and analyzation of morphological, genetic sequences of orchid hybrids That Son area, An Giang province" to store rare and precious genetic resources from broccoli and as a premise for breeding process and choose to create brocade orchids with high medicinal value. As a result, 06 brocade orchid varieties have been collected from That Son area, An Giang province and denoted by AG1, AG2, AG3, AG4, AG5 and AG6. Morphological analysis showed that 06 orchid varieties collected had morphological characteristics similar to orchid hybrids such as color, leaf shape, body and root. Sequence analysis of 18S rRNA gene of ITS region (ITS1 and ITS4) showed that AG1 sample were similar to Ludisia discolor voucher KFBG34 (99,83%); AG2 sample were similar to Ludisia
discolor AJ539483.1 (99,51%); AG3 sample were similar to Ludisia discolor voucher S. W. Chung 448 (99,35%); AG4 sample were similar to Ludisia discolor cultivar Nanjing 18S (99,83%); AG5 sample were similar to Ludisia discolor voucher SM040 (100%); AG6 sample were similar to Ludisia discolor MK451745.1 (99,84%).
